Denver kicked off its Tasty Food summer meal program on Monday, expanding to feed kids aged 3 to 18 and ensuring no child goes hungry while school's out. With no application needed, local kids can enjoy meals ranging from sack lunches to chicken fajitas at libraries and rec centers, making summer delicious and nutritious for all.

Juneteenth is next week, but celebrations begin this weekend, featuring a variety of events that honor African American heritage and history.

• Juneteenth Music Festival: June 15-16 at 2701 Welton St., featuring Bow Wow, local vendors, and a parade.

• Juneteenth Music Festival After-Parties: June 15-16 at Mirus Gallery & Art Bar and Mile High Spirits.

• Cleo Parker Robinson Dance Juneteenth Lineup: June 14-15 with various panels and performances.
